Bus Registration FAQ

  • How do I register my camper for bus service?

After you’ve registered your child for camp, you will be asked to compete a Bus Interest Form to specify the ideal cross streets for your camper’s pickup, and your desire for designated stop service or door-to-door service (additional fee).

Then, in early May, you will officially register for bus service. Upon registration, DiMino Bus Company will send you an invoice for service.

  • What if the bus company cannot meet my transportation needs?

If DiMino Bus Service is unable to meet your transportation needs, they will contact you directly. In rare cases where DiMino is unable to meet a family’s bus transportation needs, Poly Summer will refund any camp tuition payments made to date.

  • Can my bus camper use Poly Summer’s extended day program in the afternoon?

Campers traveling by bus will leave Poly Prep’s campus at 3:30 PM.

Campers traveling by bus cannot use Poly Summer’s extended day program in the afternoon unless they only use bus service in the morning.

Please note: Bus registration is for round-trip service. There are no pro-rated fees for one-way service.

  • When will I find out my child’s bus route and pick up/drop off times?

At least two weeks prior to the start of camp, DiMino will contact all registered bus families with routes and pick up/drop off times.

  • Does DiMino offer door-to-door service?

DiMino offers door-to-door service for an additional fee of $300/camper.  You may specify your interest for door-to-door service when completing your Bus Interest Form.

Regular bus service uses designated stops, where centralized pick up and drop off locations are determined by the home addresses of the registered bus-riding campers.
