Learn how to run for fitness, competition, and fun! This weeklong program builds skills and teaches techniques that will prepare athletes for a future in sprinting, jumping events, and throwing. Campers learn healthy habits while making friends and having fun.

  • Stretching and flexibility fundamentals
  • Body positioning and stride
  • Event specific drills and exercises
  • Strength training
  • Pool workouts
  • Nutrition and hydration
  • Cool-down techniques
  • Progress journals
  • End of week mini-Olympics

Led by Bridgette Ingram, Poly Prep’s head coach of Cross Country and Track and Field. Coach B shares her own experience as a world-class track and field athlete, and also as an experienced youth coach.
